Fall
everyone has been saying how much they love the change of weather we've recently experienced. i am not one of those people. i dislike the feeling you get when you walk outside and the cold wind takes your breath away and instantly makes your nose a popsicle. i get sick very easily and when its cold out i find myself getting sick more often than when it is warm. i don't like having to put on multiple layers of clothes because then you go inside and have to take half of the things off, dressing for the cold is just an absolute pain. sure the leaves are beautiful at this time of year but in about a month, maybe less, the trees will be bare and ugly. the skeleton trees will haunt the campus and make going outside even more unenjoyable. i'd much rather see the life of summer year round than the death of late fall and winter.

I cannot say I totally disagree with this, but I cannot totally agree either. I find the change in weather rather comforting because I enjoy the slight shill brought on by the crisp fall air. However, once this chill is coupled with a blistering wind that so often accompanies such events I find myself in agreement. also, I like your idea of the skeleton trees. Maybe they will be around just in time for Halloween?
ReplyDeleteI have to completely agreen with you. The sunny yet cool days at the beginning of winter are nice but the dark, cold, wet, and windy long days are not my favorite. It isn't even October yet, I can't bare to think what the winter is going to be like!
ReplyDeletei have to agree with post em. i understand where your coming from about the tons of layers of clothing. why do they make the buildings so hot!? i hate it! cuz we all have to dress for the frigid weather and then strip to nothing once we get to class. i also agree that the cold weather sucks cuz everything dies and looks barren and haunted. i wish we could just skip winter.
ReplyDeleteI don't totally disagree with you I also hate putting on multiple layers of clothes to go outside, but i also love the changing of the season from summer to fall. It is nice to have a transition season instead of just going from hot to cold. This weather change has not been too bad though other than than strong winds which make the cold even less enjoyable.
